YSP is all about fostering growth, leadership, and high character through our year round program. We offer speed, agility, plyometric, and strength training in a highly supervised and encouraging environment.

Week #2 Recap. Our summer camps are all about activity and character education.

YSP offers me the opportunity to work with middle school athletes in an environment that fosters growth. Along with working with the middle school athletes, I am able to watch our high school athlete/coaches work with the youth as well. Their leadership skills are constantly on full display.

One key benefit of jump rope for youth is the development of coordination and agility. Jumping rope requires the synchronization of timing, rhythm, and body movements, which enhances motor skills and helps improve overall athleticism. This activity not only builds cardiovascular endurance but also strengthens the muscles in the legs, core, and arms, making it a valuable exercise for young athletes across various sports.

Teaching plyometric box depth drops to middle school athletes is important because it helps develop explosive power, improves reaction time, and enhances neuromuscular coordination. These drills train the body to absorb and redirect force efficiently, which is essential for sports that require quick, powerful movements. Additionally, they help build lower body strength and resilience, reducing the risk of injury by teaching proper landing mechanics.
