HIGH FIVE

2ND-5TH GRADE

Both females and males are welcome. We believe that in order to build a solid foundation there are five areas that need to be addressed. Those areas are: Balance, Coordination, Speed, Agility, and Strength. Each session is filled with various stations that are designed to help your young athlete improve on the "High Five."  Sessions take place once a week at your local elementary school site at the end of the school day. We bring all needed equipment. All your young athlete needs to bring is a water bottle and the will to GET BETTER!  Each session includes a character ed. lesson centered around our Word of the Day.

INTRO. TO STRENGTH TRAINING

At YSP we believe strength training should be introduced in a safe environment where supervision is priority. We take pride in introducing our youth to basic lifts that can later be expounded on while building confidence that THEY TOO can do this. Both females and males are welcome. Each session has a character ed. lesson built into it, along with healthy snacks provided. Sessions are offered 2x weekly Monday and Wednesday 7:00-8:00 A.M. Days and times may adjust based on school calendar.

I AM AN ATHLETE

YSP's ELITE X program is designed for the high school female athlete. It's a program that seeks to build confidence in the female athlete through strength training, small group leadership training, 1 on 1 nutritional coaching, and 1 on 1 mental conditioning work. Athletes will gain the necessary confidence to enter any weightroom setting comfortably knowing they belong. They will understand how nutrition plays a role in their daily activities. Leadership and mental conditioning will round out the program as the participants will learn how a steady healthy mental state leads to positive self image. Also, how being an effective leader is foundational in transitioning in life after high school.
